This is the base for The Legendary Black Water Rafting Company. The cafe offers coffee, pies, quiche, sandwiches, etc and a free bagel and hot soup after Black Water Rafting trips. Phone 07 878 7361.
Morepork Cafe and Pizzeria:
This cafe is part of the Kiwi Paka complex. You can dine at the cafe or in the school's conference room. They make excellent pizzas. Here's the current School Menu. Phone 07 878 3395.
Curly's Bar:
Provides $5 fish & chips meals for school groups. They have excellent bar meals and will give quotes for other school meals. Phone 07 878 8448.
The Waitomo General Store:
Homemade & organic cafe style lunches, ice-cream, coffee, and cooked breakfasts (till noon). The General Store can make sandwiches and the yummiest gourmet pies in NZ for your group, but you MUST call them at least a couple of days before your visit.
